My Story
I am a mother of four children who has respect for the place of the arts in day to day living. Face to Face began as a volunteer endeavor as well as an opportunity for my own creative expression.
Face painting has its roots in ancient history and is an integral traditional practice for many cultures around the world. Its use has been observed in spirituality, entertainment, sports, politics and social culture. Perhaps today, it is a way to connect with our own childhood and need for play.
Face painting creates a festive atmosphere at celebrations, festivals & community events. It allows for individuals to be temporarily transformed - to imagine themselves as more or to make a statement.
